Every city has a landmark store. Vadodara has Ganga Sarees for cotton & silk sarees. Running successfully from Since 1988 with the punch line “Cotton Ane Silk Sadi to bas Ganganij…” (For cotton and silk sarees it is only Ganga), Ganga Sarees has been an integral part of the market since the 1980s.

Today, Ganga Sarees two stores dot the landscape of the western Indian state of Gujarat’s third largest city, also known as Baroda. When it comes to ethnic Indian wear collection of cotton and silk, there is none to beat Ganga Sarees in terms of variety and quality. The collection of sarees, dress materials, readymade salwar kameez, kurtis, lehenga choli and laggings under one roof is simply breathtakingly massive.

The first Ganga Sarees store was founded by Shri Pravinchandra Shah in 1988. Since then, every member of Ganga Sarees family, led by Ambrish Shah and Rajesh Shah, worked ceaselessly and with inspiring devotion for building up the business through sheer customer satisfaction and delivering more than their expectations.

At first they started the store with the exclusive variety in cotton and silk sarees and soon they also starts with dress materials.

After a year of starting the retail store they expended their business and started wholesale business in the year of 1989.

The retail business was handled by Ambrish Shah and the wholesale business was handled by Rajesh Shah.

Six years after setting up the first store in Ghadiali Poel, Ganga Sarees second showroom made its appearance in the porch area of the city that is Alkapuri, offering an impressive variety of Sarees & Dress Materials in the year 1994.

After consolidating business for Seven years they decided to shut down the wholesale business and decided to expand the retail business in the year 1996.

After that they introduced the wide range of products, they introduced the readymade salwar suits, chaniya cholies, kurties and laggings.

Today, Ganga Sarees offers customers the most convenient option for shopping for religious festivals, family festivities, marriages and social gatherings.

One could find an impressive collection of sarees, dresses, dress materials, kurtis & chaniya cholis at Ganga Sarees, in the range of Rs. 200 to 50,000 with 18 employees, including a significant number of women staff, work across Ganga Sarees stores.
